Decadence in a cup

Now I am a coffee girl.  I had a coffee (as in one) every day of my pregnancy.  My logic was the benefits of the calcium probably outweighed the potential downsides of the caffeine (which before anyone berates me was at or below the recommended level!). However I may have found a new love, and its name is not coffee.  Its name is Lapsang Souchong, loose leaf to be exact!  We had this in tea bag form previously, and it had grown on us, and went in search of some more, but alas none were to be found.  We happened to be in town on the weekend and I realised we were going to walk right by a T2 shop, so in we wandered and out we wandered with a box of loose leaf tea.  My other half said you do realise that it was loose leaf, yes I replied.  There is a tea pot in a house, singular, which I don’t think we have used in the past 10 years.  But it has been used 3 times in the last two days.  Every mouthful makes me pause in the moment.

I do believe food and drink are one of the true pleasures of life.  For me Lapsang Souchong  is decadence in a cup.  Why don’t you try one.T2 tea lapsang souchong

  2. I think this is an acquired taste. It’s really not my favourite, though I can tolerate it in small doses. I suppose it might appeal more to coffee lovers, which I am not. Glad you liked it, though… I think tea is really healthy!
