West Yorkshire Spinners

One of my lovely staff has been overseas largely for work but with a touch of holiday squeezed in.  By random accident we found out that we are both plyers of the conversion of wool into artefacts (she far more adept than I, I must say).  Today was her first day back and she handed me this blue bag and it contained this gorgeous wool – Bluefaced Leicester by West Yorkshire Spinners.  The night time photo probably doesn’t do the colours justice.  That is was all the way from West Yorkshire made me smile as one of my favourite knitting/crochet and just generally funny bloggers was literally just there too. Maybe they walked past each – who knows!

Anyways if you are a keen knitter and a keen blogger then you may already be aware of this, but Deramores are running a competition where you can win £500 worth of yarn (yes that’s £500!).  Does not matter where in the world you are.  I am intending to enter, but knowing me I will not get around to it, so how can I not share this chance for you to have all this wool!

So while I am procrastinating and not entering that competition, help me procrastinate a little more by giving me your suggestions on what should I make with this 100g ball of 100% wool DK yarn?
